Hard to spot, fleas can quickly multiply into large numbers around the home or workplace, causing unnecessary and uncomfortable pain from their annoying bites. There are some easy tips to try and prevent or curb an outbreak, for instance trimming grass and weeds around your property, keeping debris outside to a minimum as these provide hiding places for fleas to congregate, vacuum your house regularly – taking particular care on carpets and rugs, combing pets to check for signs of fleas, washing your pets bedding in hot water frequently and/or replacing on a regular basis, and most importantly prevent fleas from latching onto your pets in the first place by using an approved flea & tick medication regularly.
